Impact and Consequences Of The Machine Gun
The Machine Gun had a great impact on WW1 most other wars had rifles until now (Shoot once) (Reload) and now they could shoot and shoot again. Soldiers in the front lines in Europe if they had a Machine Gun like this they could defend much better! The leaders of the War had easier decisions to make because of this weapon they wouldn't likely want to move around a lot with this heavy gun though. Civilians probably didn't have one of these in the front lines but if they did they stood a larger chance of living. The weapon made it easier to defend and harder to move but it was a lot better then the Musket when it comes to odds of surviving, but then again it had some problems itself such as jamming, reloading, overheating, and then again portability. |
This is a slideshow presenting the Machine Guns of World War 1 and before.
